No. As part of the service provided, we will arrange for your vehicle to be issued with a standard age-related replacement registration mark at no additional cost.
Yes. You may withdraw your number plate from sale by notifying us by e-mail at valuations@pn.co.uk or via post to: Personal Numbers Ltd, Valuations Department, 34 Island Centre Way, Enfield, EN3 6GS.
NB: If a buyer is found prior to your cancellation request, then the agreement must be honoured.
Payment will be remitted upon completion of the sale via BACS or cheque. Conclusion of the sale is dependent on which transfer scheme the transaction has participated in. For example:
- If it’s a vehicle to vehicle transfer, i.e. the registration mark is being transferred from your vehicle to the purchasers vehicle, then completion is indicated when you are in receipt of your new V5C (log book) from the governing body bearing the age-related replacement registration mark. A high resolution scan or photocopy of the new V5C (log book) will need to be sent to us for verification and release of payment.
- If it’s a certificate to vehicle transfer, i.e. the registration mark is being assigned to the purchasers vehicle from a V750 Certificate of Entitlement or V778 Retention Document, then the transfer is deemed complete when Personal Numbers are notified by the governing body that registration mark has been successfully assigned. Upon receipt of this notification payment will be remitted.
- If it’s a certificate to certificate or vehicle to certificate transfer, i.e. the purchaser wishes to retain the number plate on a certificate instead of transfer to their vehicle, then completion of the sale and payment is remitted when we are in receipt of the amended V750 Certificate of Entitlement or equally V778 Retention Document bearing the new Nominee name.
This may be because you have already requested a valuation in the past or we’re currently already advertising your number. If you wish to have another valuation sent, simply contact us and we will endeavour to have one sent.
